Risky Export of DGRAM

Challenges

A client exporting goods to multiple countries with payment of GST (IGST) filed for export refunds. Due to the volume and multi-country export pattern, the department raised concerns and a DGGI notice was issued. As a result, the refund was put on hold, creating uncertainty and working-capital blockage.

Results

Our investigation-response team conducted a fraud-risk readiness review, prepared a complete evidence pack, and shared a structured list of supporting documents with the department—covering export proofs, invoice/shipping linkage, remittance trail, reconciliations, and compliance records. After successful clarification, the client received clearance status, and Wolf Global completed the refund process as per law. The department released the refund that was on hold.

Testimonial

"When our export refund was held due to a DGGI notice, Wolf Global handled the matter with confidence. They prepared the full documentation, cleared the department’s concerns, and completed the refund process properly. The held refund was released, and we felt fully supported throughout."
